Having BK117 series in our inventory, we can utilize its’ size and mobility to satisfy an ever increasing, and wide range of roles. Some roles used, but not limited to include: Passenger transport, medical air transport, firefighting, disaster mitigation, and recovery rescue operations as may be needed.
Charters
Central Helicopter Service operates helicopter flights for public events and private charters. We also offer our helicopter operations as transportation for regions without airplane routes, islands, and longtime-consuming destinations for sightseeing. Our helicopters are well-equipped to provide you with a safe and special experience.

On-demand transfers for medical purpose
Central Helicopter Service provides air transport transfer between hospitals for patients in critical conditions. With extensive rendezvous area data, we suggest the most convenient departure and arrival spots.
We are also on standby for emergency scenes at various motorsports events, including international FIA races. In case of an accident, we are able to transport directly the injured from the race venue to the optimum medical facility following doctors' instruction.
Benefits of using helicopters for medical purpose
Compared to land transport, helicopter offer rapid travel (over 200km/h in a straight line) with less vibration. To ensure smooth and fast medical-demand transfers, we utilize heliports, airports, rendezvous areas and cooperate with private ambulance companies.
Flight Supporting (Rescue and Firefighting Operations)
Our experienced team of pilots, maintenance engineers and flight dispatchers support the rescue and firefighting operations of municipalities. It also manages the quality of aircraft parts and offers safety training such as Crew Resource Management, helping the organization maintain the quality and safety of flight operations.

Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS)
Central Helicopter Service is the first company which introduced the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) in Japan. Commencing experimental operations in 1981 and full-fledged operations in Japan since April 2001, Central Helicopter Service has continuously been entrusted with flight operations for HEMS. The improvement of our knowledge and skills through the operation ensures the safe execution of flights.
